Talking Heads and Tea Parties

I'm thinking that November's elections aren't going to make a damned bit of difference. Tea Partiers and the like would claim otherwise, but they're being led by pundits, news media and talking heads, just like everyone else, so I can't take them seriously. The country doesn't need new politicians or new parties. We, the people, need to get our heads out of our asses and realize that sometimes we just can't have everything we want, contrary to popular belief. We can blame politicians all we want for our problems (and all sides LOVE to point fingers), but a politicians job is to give their constituents what they want. The scary part of that is what their constituents really DO want. We all should be blaming NO ONE but OURSELVES. Once again, we've all been had, but you can't blame your politicians anymore. All you need to do is take a look in the mirror.

I doubt that this rant will do anything. Asking Americans to suck it up and suffer a bit is almost unheard of. We don't even know the meaning of the word "suffer" here. We prefer "squander".
